Executive Asisstant

The Executive Assistant will provide administrative and personal support to the COO.
In addition to being responsible for managing the COOs full and dynamic calendar, the Executive Assistant will attend meetings and complete tasks on his behalf.

Daily Duties

  • Work closely with the COO, and other members across the Organization including coordination with the Executive Coordinator and team members in the Organization
  • Excited to work in a “hands-on”, “get-things-done” position.
  • Management and organization of calendars, including coordination and scheduling of meetings
  • Recording of accurate, well-written, and professional meeting minutes and tasks following such meetings
  • Creation of Excel reports
  • Management of COO email inbox and communications
  • Follow-up with team members regarding task status, due dates, and associated reporting
  • Answer and follow-up on incoming calls, support tickets, and other work items
  • Event planning and coordination – including securing of reservations and all associated arrangements for such events
  • Work with external support to coordinate and schedule maintenance activities
  • Perform other duties, as assigned

Producer/Editor

Gas Media Group is looking for a full-time Producer / Editor to join our video team in Los Angeles. The Producer / Editor will work with the video team to shoot and edit fun and engaging, short-form content for TikTok, Twitter, and Instagram, as well as collaborate to adapt social content for other platforms like YouTube. 

The ideal candidate will be creative, self-motivated, epically curious, highly adaptable, and able to juggle multiple projects at once with an eye for excellent social content. 

Daily Duties

  • Produce 3-4 videos a week 
  • Pitch content idea for social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Reddit, and YouTube 
  • Identify and signal emerging trends to the video team 
  • Work with strategists to prioritize time-sensitive projects so they are optimized for success 
  • Quickly iterate off of successful/trending content 
  • Ability to identify content that represents marginalized voices and communities

Preferred Qualification and Skill

  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro X
  • Must be comfortable with most video codecs and formats
  • Extremely knowledgeable about Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok
  • Interest in social platforms and data
  • Comfortable working in After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop

Gas Media Group is looking for a fluent, solutions-based Vietnamese & English-speaking Operations Manager to join our growing team in Los Angeles. This role requires a great communicator to connect with departments, creators, and clients in fluent English and Vietnamese, acting as a conduit between operations in and between our Vietnam and Los Angeles offices. The position is based in Los Angeles and is part-time.

Daily Duties

  • Translate communications and operation affairs between US and Vietnam offices
  • Provide daily summaries/reports on the work progress of our Vietnam team/office
  • Lead operations-related initiatives between Vietnam and US offices
  • Communicate with both English and Vietnamese-speaking clients managing, retaining, and growing the relationship with the business.
  • Work with teams from both offices to solve our creators’, clients’, departments’ and/or other networks’ problems 

Preferred Qualification and Skill

  • Must be able to work on a part-time schedule 
  • Mandatory ability to communicate fluently in Vietnamese and English, both verbally and in written form

Daily Duties

  • Oversee approximately 20-30 creator accounts
  • Overseeing support channels and delegating support-related inquiries and tasks the appropriate team member
  • Point of contact for all creator payment related issues/questions 
  • Set up and oversight of new support systems and channels
  • Phone calls with creators regarding their current account status 
  • Lead onboarding for new clients 
  • Working with other teams to solve problems with creators or other networks
  • Recruiting channels and creators who fit into our approach
  • Working one-on-one with agency clients as their primary point of contact
  • Provide monthly reports to agency clients
  • In charge of keeping creator dashboard’s current and mapping content ID assets to the appropriate account.

Job Competencies

  • A great communicator that can build and nurture strong working relationships with a wide range of influencers while onboarding submitted content.
  • You should have discerning taste and a passion for viral videos to be successful in this position.
  • Work involves answering general questions about our services and providing assistance with submissions, on top of occasionally guiding influencers through our licensing process.
  • You’ll work closely with Content Management, Digital Rights, and Strategy teams while reaching out to influencers across short-form video platforms such as TikTok & Instagram.
  • As a result, you’ll be expected to gain a solid understanding of all aspects of the business – what we do, the companies & channels we often work with, the types of content we represent, how we protect content, the details of our agreements, etc.
